Winter walks in and around Andalo
On the Paganella Plateau, in the fantastic scenery of the Brenta Dolomites, there are so many hikes to do!
During the winter season the landscape is enchanted, completely transformed by the cold weather and snow. An irresistible lure for those who love walking in the open air, breathing in the crisp air, walking without hurry.
Here are some routes to get to know the area; we recommend bringing crampons in case of hard or icy snow.
1. MASO TOSCANA, LE VILLETTE, MASO MONEGO
A medium-easy ring-route that takes you to the heart of some of Andalo's old farmsteads and to one of the most scenic spots in the entire village..
2. ANDALO - TANA DELL'ERMELLINO
An almost completely flat walk along the Andalo karst lake, on a comfortable dirt track through a beautiful fir forest..
3. ANDALO - PEGORAR - MADONNA DI LORETO
A walk on the edge of the Andalo woods of low/medium difficulty, however, suitable for everyone.
4. ANDALO - MOLVENO
A walk for the whole family, mainly downhill, in the woods between Andalo and Molveno.
5. ANDALO - RON - VALBIOLE- SARNACLI
A walk of medium difficulty through the snowy woods above Andalo and Molveno.
6. DOSSON - CROZ DEL RASAR - MERIZ
Easy route along a dirt road, at high altitude and in dense woods.
7. GIRO DEL LAGO DI MOLVENO
A beautiful ring-route around Lake Molveno, with the possibility of briefly extending the walk to the WWF oasis of Nembia.
8. LA VIA IMPERIALE DA ANDALO A SPORMAGGIORE
The Via Imperiale, also known as the Via Traversa, is an ancient route of Roman origin that for centuries was an important link with the Via Francigena, passing through the Valle di Non, the Giudicarie and Lake Garda; the section between Andalo and Spormaggiore is considered here.
9. CAVEDAGO - ANDALO
Pleasant route in the woods between Cavedago and Andalo; a few climbs, but nothing of note.
