Brown Bear Park - Wildlife park
A wonderful wildlife park is to be found in the town of Spormaggiore on the Paganella Plateau. The park allows you to closely observe the brown bear, that is the largest mammal living in the Alps and and which has repopulated the Trentino forests.
In the park's thoroughly natural environment you can admire bears that live within an area of 7,000 square metres.
Some time ago a few specimens of wolf, four of eagle owl and a male specimen of wild cat were also included in the park. Since 2013 it is also possible to observe undoubtedly fascinating animals such as foxes and lynxes, all in ad-hoc built fenced areas.
a family day immersed in nature
Apart from the areas for carnivores of the Alps, you can also visit the educational animal farm where you find some of the classic barnyard animals, such as goats, rabbits, chickens, guinea fowl and ponies.
Last but not least, for a full review of the attractions to be enjoyed in a family day immersed in nature, the park has a number of large plants such as beech trees, spruce pines and larches, bushy areas alternating with open areas, a small stream with ponds and little waterfalls, a small but well-equipped children's playground and a dining area.
