Molveno
Molveno is a picturesque village at 864 metres a.s.l., in an enviable position on a sunny slope overlooking the waters of the lake bearing the same name, Lake Molveno.
From the town streets and its main road - via Roma - a historic walk unwinds among craft shops and Trentino delicacies stores; to the west you see the mountain tops and rocky peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, to the east the wooded ridge of Paganella-Gazza, and to the south the equipped lido beach of the beautiful Lake Molveno.
A short walk from the old town takes you to the departure of the new gondola, opened in 2014; it connects the village to the wooded knoll Pradel (1.367 m). The lift takes you along the breathtaking panorama of Lake Molveno and the Dolomites; from Pradel, in 20 minutes walk on an easy path, or onboard another chairlift, you can reach the mountain hut 'La Montanara' (1.525 m), a wonderful panoramic viewpoint on the towering cliffs of the Brenta group central chain.
